Herd health is monitored on the NMR Interherd computer programme, we regularly assess diseases and trends with our vet who is on the farm weekly as part of a complete herd health contract.
Milk quality is of particular importance to us as we feel it not only maximises our milk price, but is a good indication of cow health and welfare standards.
